Join JRF, a leading organization dedicated to [JRF’s mission], as a Fundraising Assistant and play a pivotal role in supporting our fundraising efforts. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the implementation of our annual fundraising plan, identify and cultivate new donors, and help us secure the resources needed to carry out our vital programs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Fundraising Plan Implementation: Work closely with the Fundraising Senior Manager to ensure the effective execution of our annual fundraising plan.
  • Donor Development: Conduct research to identify potential new donors and develop strategies to cultivate relationships with them.
  • Fundraising Materials: Assist in the creation of compelling fundraising materials, including concept notes, presentations, and reports.
  • Event Planning: Support the planning and execution of fundraising events, ensuring their success and maximizing resource generation.
  • Donation Box Network Management: Optimize our network of donation boxes through regular maintenance, data management, and strategic improvements.
  • Network Expansion: Identify and secure new locations for donation boxes, coordinate their installation and maintenance, and track their performance.
  • Logistical Support: Provide essential logistical support for fundraising initiatives, including field visits, volunteering activities, and event planning.
  • Donor Database Management: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date donor database, ensuring proper documentation and tracking of donations.
  • In-Kind Donations: Identify and solicit in-kind donations to expand our fundraising reach and secure valuable resources.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Ensure all fundraising-related documents are filed and organized for easy access and reference.
  • Administrative Tasks: Prepare and send donor communications, coordinate with relevant departments, and handle other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Collaboration: Actively participate in relevant assignments as requested by the Director of Strategic Partnerships Division.
  • Internal Coordination: Collaborate with other divisions and departments to ensure efficient fundraising operations and effective resource allocation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Language Skills: Excellent English and Arabic language skills (written and spoken).
  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience in fundraising or a related field.
  • Communication and Writing: Strong communication and writing skills to effectively convey information and create compelling fundraising materials.
  • Organization and Time Management: Ability to organize tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure.
